Asymmetry

  • Asymmetry in fashion design means that each side of the garment aren't equal to the other.
  • Asymmetry can be created by stitching up pieces of material with some sort of inclining or sloping angle that dips on one side and rises on another.
  • It can also be achieved by some deftly cut lines at varying degrees at the hem, sleeves or neckline.
  • asymmetry can also occur with prints, patterns, designs and embellishments that follow no symmetric patterns.
