Recycling

  • Taking old garments and transforming them into something new. The garments are deconstructed then manipulated to create an entire new piece.
  • Fabrics can also be recycled then spun into new material using eco-friendly processes. Designers use these to create eco-friendly collections.
  • Esthetica is a design showcase during London Fashion Week set up to showcase emerging designers who use eco-friendly materials and also run their companies using ethical practises. It helps to promote eco-sustainability in the fashion world.

Junky Styling
Junky Styling was created by two self taught designers Annika Saunders and Kerry Seager in 1997. They make their one off pieces from the highest quality 2nd hand clothing. The clothes are deconstructed, re-cut and transformed into a new piece. Their work has been showed cased in Esthetica at London Fashion Week.


Noir
Noir was created by Peter Ingwerson in 2005. He combines luxurious fashion with eco-logical responsibility and sustainable practise.
